Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes information such as your name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of a website) is not included. In principle, you can use our online services without revealing your identity.
When you visit our website or use our services, the device you use to access the site automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our servers. Log data includes the IP address of the device you use to access the site or a service, the type of browser you use to access the site, the page you previously visited, your system configuration, and date and time information. IP addresses are only stored to the extent necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymised. We store your IP address when you visit our website for a maximum of 7 days in order to detect and prevent attacks.
When you request information, order e-books or make other requests, we ask for your name and other personal information. It is your free decision whether you enter this data. We store your details on specially protected servers in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified that the level of data protection in Switzerland is comparable to that in the EU. The transfer of data from the EU to Switzerland is permitted under data protection law. Access to it is only possible for a few authorised persons. These are entrusted with the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the contents and servers.
If the usage or traffic data is required for our services, it will be stored for a maximum of six months after the data has been collected. If the data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data will also be stored beyond this period. However, this data is blocked and is only accessible to a few authorised persons via passwords.
If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You will find the respective legal basis on which the processing is based in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR).
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data may - apart from storage - only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
We only use your personal data for the purpose for which it is used by us. We will not pass the data on to third parties without your express consent. Insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or by court order, we will transmit your data to bodies entitled to receive information.
Internet cookies are small data packets that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies on our website. These cookies are necessary for you to move freely around the website and use its functions, including access to secure areas of the website. Cookies are also necessary for technical reasons for the shopping basket function for shop orders.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent.
Children and persons under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations.
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In the process, pseudonymous usage profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that the user's IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

This site uses so-called web fonts from Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
In the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offer, Google Web Fonts are used.
We have integrated these fonts locally to avoid having to establish unnecessary connections to foreign servers. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
For more information on how we handle user data, please see YouTube's privacy policy at: www.google.de/policies/privacy.
If you have given us consent, you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future.
You can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for you at any time. Which supervisory authority is responsible for you depends on the federal state or canton in which you live, work or which violation you suspect.
